Tim Waters
Tim joined Hard Dowdy in 1981 and will be responsible for the overall quality of the work provided by this
specialist business unit to a client list which includes trade unions, industrial and
provident societies and individual trade union officials and members.
Following a period of five years as a financial director for a client, he returned in 1996 and became a partner in 2000.
He has developed a role as the relationship partner for our union and entertainment clients and has adopted a flexible approach to clients' needs with an overriding awareness that it is necessary for services to be delivered effectively and efficiently. His primary objective is to deliver best value for money and to provide high quality feedback. Tim is supported by his fellow partners together with Jacqui Lee Foster, Denise Crawford and Hon Chan.

Phil
qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and has been with the
firm since 2008. He is currently audit partner on a number of the firm's
trade union clients overseeing the audit and delivery of a range of
other services. In addition, he looks after a number of our
entertainment-based clients and, with a strong commercial background,
provides Tim with valuable support in providing a wide range of services
to the business unit as a whole.
He in turn is supported by senior staff including Rob Griffiths, Nellie Redmond, Lucy Polykett and Sian Mitchell.

Stephen has over 15 years experience in audit and has
been with the firm since 1999. He is head of the firm's Pensions Group,
which co-ordinates a wide range of services to Trustees of occupational
pension schemes. Assurance services are the bedrock of the group and all
of the pensions team have experience of this work, ensuring that audits
are conducted efficiently with minimum disruption to Trustees and their
advisors.
He is ably assisted by Lila Clarke, Stephen Bunnage and Tom Telford who currently manage his trade union related pension schemes.

Gareth is responsible for the planning and direction of
our audit work and is a member of the firm's Audit Technical Committee.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 and has 17 years'
auditing experience and provides a "hands on service" to our trade union
clients.
As audit partner, he will ensure that all of our accounting, business advisory, reporting requirements and timetables are met, and he is currently assisted by Emily Smith and Ben Courts in the management of his trade union audit assignments.
